Together for more organic cotton
We are working with our partners to steadily increase the percentage of organic cotton in our clothing collection.
As team athletes, we know that sustainability does not work on its own. This is also true on the subject of cotton. That's why we work together with our partners to constantly increase the proportion of organic cotton in our collection.
Conventional cotton cultivation is mainly based on monocultures. This is associated with problems for people and the environment. We can counteract this by choosing organic cotton, in whose cultivation no genetically modified seeds may be used, the soil experiences crop rotation and no artificial weed killers or pesticides are used. In addition, less water is needed.
The challenge: An extremely high demand for organic cotton meets a low supply on the part of farmers in the producing countries. Therefore, our partners need support in the form of firm commitments and a system that helps them convert to organic cotton. This is what we are working on together - Our Team for a better World.
With "Our Team for a better World", we have created a platform where we would like to get in touch with you. Tell us about your ideas and projects on sustainability! We want to learn from you, present our initiatives and network with you.
